This guide has been written to assist you in accessing the MMC Web Portal. You may be an existing MMC customer or a visitor exploring the services we offer. In this document you’ll find a step by step guide with simple instructions on how to access the Web Portal. What is a Web Portal?

As MMC progressively moves its client services online, we face two key challenges.

Provide a system which is easy to access and allows our customers to view online reports and other data services.
While providing simple access, maintain a high level of security to protect customers data.

The MMC Web Portal addresses both of these issues. The Web Portal allows MMC to create your own custom home page. This page is tailor made to display the reports and services you require.

As the Web Portal is publicly accessible you can view your reports and other resources from any location with internet access.

The Web Portal operates from a security appliance which provides a very secure web service. When connecting to the Web Portal your browser uses SSL technology, this encrypts any data you view whilst online.

Step by Step Guide

1) Getting Started

Select the Resources tab at the top of this page. Once in the "Resources" page select the "Start Web Portal" button.

2) Login On

Logon with either your customer details (provided by MMC) or with the guest details supplied on the page.
Be sure to select the correct category from the drop down list, in most instances this will be "customers".

3) MMC Web Portal Home Page

Welcome to your customised home page.

You can see the MMC website in the background and your "Web Applications" at the bottom of the page. These applications are also available by selecting the "Web Applications" menu option on the left hand side.

4) Web Applications

Once in the "Web Applications" menu you can choose from a variety of services.

If you are an existing customer these applications will reflect the services you have with MMC.

If you are accessing this site as a guest you will see a selection of links demonstrating our core services, including:

Web Site Statistics
Online Reporting
E-commerce Site Shopping Cart

5) My Shop Demo

In this screen shot the "My Shop Demo" link has been selected.

This is an example shopping cart, demonstrating how your customers can browse and purchase your products online. Feel free to place an order and see how the shopping cart works.

6) Controls

To help you navigate the Web Portal a control panel appears in the top right hand side of the web page.

Arrows – Moves the control block to the left or the right hand side of the web page.
